About Us......

Emmanuel Kids Uganda is a nonprofit charitable organization that aims to care for the vulnerable and orphaned in Uganda.

EKU started in 2018 with the motive of helping vulnerable children. We started with 4 children: Elvis, Esther, Winner, and Joel. They were living with me in my two-bedroom house after losing their parents because of Aids. I didn't complain even though we lived in a small place; I just waited for God’s time because it's always the best. After 3 years, God used my mother, and she gave us a larger room where I could take care of my children. We give the Glory and honor back to Jesus! We continued receiving and helping more orphans with support from friends, my mother, and my husband. I believe that through your prayers and support, we can buy a bigger piece of land to build our home and school. Our children range from the age of 16 to 2 years.

More about our ministry

We have five children who joined High school: Elvis, Wendy, Sasha, Whitney, and Pauline. The remaining 10 are in primary school studying in a neighboring public school. We plan to meet the principal of a vocational school so that he can allow some of our children to join his school, especially those who do not go to school and yet have grown up. I hope that when God provides, all our children will be able to join school.

Your support, which is deeply appreciated, will make a crucial impact on each child's life, ensuring they have basic care, shelter, education, and medical care. Public school tuition is $50. Your gift will help send the children to school, as well as feed and clothe them. You will give each child the opportunity for a brighter future.

Birthday Celebrations

Each month, the “Birthday” children are celebrated with a party. The party is filled with lots of fun, laughter, squeals of joy, and excitement. We have a birthday cake, ice cream, popcorn, and gifts for the Birthday children. Like all children in the world, they are very excited and eager to receive their gifts.

We ensure each child feels and knows they are truly loved daily, but Birthday Celebrations make them feel extra special—the same as children with parents.

Harvesting Period

Harvesting Period

Maize cobs can be dried in the sun until the kernels feel brittle enough for shelling. Shelling is when the farmer removes the kernels from the cobs. Farmers sometimes use knives, their hands, or round tools called “shellers” for this process.
